After a successful career in consumer marketing Clare decided to give it up to write full time. Now she is a successful author of 8 historical novels! Her novels are set during the war years of the twentieth century, which is why you see her porcelain poppy featured in some of the photos.
Clare wanted just a few personal branding photos, so instead of venturing out we concentrated on photographing her in her environment at home, surrounded by her books and her notes.
I don’t think you can photograph someone without being friends, even if for just a few hours. It’s just too personal to be strangers. So, as usual, there was much chatting and laughter in between photos and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know her during her shoot.
